Helping Authors Achieve Their Dreams
This is one of the many lovely letters that we have received from authors across Australia:
I just wanted to write a short note of thanks. It was nearly eight years ago that I started writing Bid Bad Bully, a victim’s guide to managing workplace bullying. I had a vision I wanted to help people overcome workplace bullying through knowing on how to respond, and feel empowered by knowing they have the ability to make change. I finished Big Bad Bully some time ago and started marketing my book. I had contacted publishers, radio stations and bookstores. I was so disappointed. It was like no one wanted to discuss the issue. My husband saw your advertisement in the local paper and I enrolled the following week.
I went to the seminar last month on 29 March – 7 days later my book was on Amazon.com. – within 2 days my book was selling
Your seminar was so informative and easy to follow, I went home that night and went through what you said step by step and within days had my Amazon password, EIN tax information uploaded and a US bank account. Because of your help, I know I’ll be able to help so many people.
With kind thanks
Susan Parker

How To Create a FREE Promo
We’ve had a few questions about where to go to to create a Free Promo for a Kindle Book.
It really is quite easy, but a little hidden…so we hope this helps.
Sign into your KDP account: https://kdp.amazon.com
Click on Bookshelf
Click on the book you want to put on Free Promo
Click on Manage Benefits
You will see Kindle Countdown Deal, there is a drop down box and Free Promotion is below the Countdown Deal.
Click on Free Book Promotion.
Then choose the dates for starting and finishing your Free Promo.
We suggest a 3 day Free Promo soon after putting your book on Amazon.
You can put a higher price, e.g. $3.99 or $2.99 on before the Free Promo giving a feeling of “getting a bargain”.
Once your free promo is over, reduce the price to 99c until you build up some sales and gather some reviews.
Payoneer – You can now transfer money to your Australian Bank Account
Great news everyone! Payoneer has just become even more perfect for Australian authors. Once you have your Payoneer account set up and you have received your card (this can take a couple of weeks) then you can link your Payoneer account to your Aussie Bank Account and transfer your royalty payments. Previously you had to withdraw cash or use your Payoneer card as a credit card.
I’ve put some screenshots below to help you, although it is fairly straight forward.
Step 1: Login to your Payoneer Account
Step 2: Click on the Withdrawal Tab at the end
Step 3: Click on the drop-down: My Local Bank Account.
Step 4: Fill out the security clearance with your Payoneer details.
Step 5: A form will pop-up for you to fill in, put in all the details of your Australian Bank Account. The only tricky parts are the Swift or BIC number, this is different to the BSB, phone your bank and ask them for this number and the BSB is broken up into two parts on the form.
Then submit and wait for an email from Payoneer. There are fees, but they are much less than foreign bank cheque fees. All of the successful authors we know, who live outside USA and don’t have an American bank account use Payoneer. Hope this helps.
P.s. Just received an email from Payoneer asking for our business certificate of incorporation (assuming this is our business registration certificate in Australia). Will let you know if this is different.
Our First Publishing Seminar
Last Saturday we held our first How To Publish seminar and received very positive feedback. We are making a couple of small changes to the program and getting ready for our second seminar to be held at the Goodlife Centre in Buderim on Saturday, 8th February. Unfortunately we had to close the first seminar off early as the numbers filled up very quickly. If you want to learn about how to publish your book, go to our upcoming workshops tab at the top of the home page and read about how we can help you.
